IgniteX Direct: recorded settings and gameplay

Windows Games in the Native macOS Steam App

Steam settings, then two real game sessions

Edited recording with English AI narration. Menu and loading waits are shortened; gameplay stays at normal speed. The notebook mockup is a presentation frame, not a hardware benchmark. Watch on YouTube.

Launch supported Windows games from Steam for macOS and manage their graphics settings with IgniteX Direct. The Steam client is native to macOS. Windows games run locally through a compatibility runtime.

Where the settings live

First complete Direct setup in IgniteX. In Steam for macOS, right-click a supported Windows game, open Properties > Compatibility, select IgniteX Direct and choose an available graphics renderer. Options shown include Metal HUD, MSync and High Resolution. Changes apply on the next launch.

The recording demonstrates the settings and those two sessions. It does not show a fresh Mac setup or the initial GPTK import. Follow the Direct setup guide for the full installation path.

Check the Direct requirements

Current Direct setup requires Apple Silicon, macOS 26 or later, Rosetta 2, a supported Steam client and your own imported GPTK 4 beta 2. Supported 64-bit Windows games only. Apple's toolkit is obtained separately under Apple's terms and is not included. Games are purchased separately.

Direct is included in IgniteX 2.0.0-beta.30. Existing customers do not need to buy it again. Read the existing-customer update instructions before replacing an older installation.

What these clips do not establish

Results depend on the game, Mac, selected graphics route and online mode. These sessions do not establish support for every game mode, controller, Mac configuration or future game update. They do not demonstrate an anti-cheat bypass. Use the game catalog and recorded tests, the installation guide and support for your setup.
