Privacy policy
Short version: IgniteX collects almost nothing. Your Steam username and password go directly to Valve and are never seen by us. The app has no analytics and no tracking. The only personal data we handle is what's needed to sell you a licence and let you activate it.
Who we are
The data controller is IgniteX, operated by [DOPLNIT: jméno / název, IČO, adresa], Czech Republic. For any privacy question or request, contact support@ignitex.app.
What we collect, and what we don't
Purchase (handled by Lemon Squeezy)
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. They collect your email and payment details to complete the sale, send your receipt and licence key, and meet tax obligations. We receive your email address and order/licence information from them, which we use to deliver the product and provide support. See Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy for how they process payment data; IgniteX never receives your full card number.
Licence activation
To confirm your purchase and prevent unlimited copying, the app validates your licence key with Lemon Squeezy's licence service and stores the key plus a locally-generated device identifier in your Mac's Keychain. The device identifier is used only to count how many machines a licence is active on. We do not build profiles and do not use this for advertising.
Steam login — never touches us
When you sign in to Steam inside IgniteX, you are talking to Valve's servers through the official Steam client running on your Mac. Your Steam credentials and Steam Guard codes are never transmitted to, stored by, or visible to IgniteX.
The app: no telemetry
The IgniteX application contains no telemetry, no
crash-reporting SDKs, and no analytics. Diagnostic logs the app writes
stay on your Mac (in
~/Library/Application Support/SteamBridge/Logs) and are
never uploaded unless you choose to send one to support.
This website: analytics via Microsoft Clarity
This website (not the app) uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site — page views, clicks, scroll behaviour, and anonymised session recordings. Clarity sets cookies and collects your IP address and device/browser information. We use this only to improve the site (e.g. see which sections of a page people actually read) and do not use it for advertising or to build cross-site profiles. See Microsoft's Clarity documentation and the Microsoft Privacy Statement for details on what Microsoft processes as the tool provider. You can block this with a content/ad blocker or your browser's tracking protection without affecting anything the app itself does.
Legal basis & retention
We process your email and order data to perform our contract with you (delivering the licence and support) and to comply with tax/accounting law. We keep order records for as long as legally required, and support correspondence for as long as needed to help you. Licence/device data is kept while your licence is active.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the Czech Republic, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů). To exercise any of these, email support@ignitex.app. Note that some records (e.g. invoices) must be retained to meet legal obligations even after a deletion request.
